Environmental Impact Assessment of Helle Industrial Area

NIKU has conducted an impact assessment for the sub-theme cultural monuments and cultural environments in connection with the proposed development of Helle industrial area, Arendal municipality, cf. regulation on impact assessments §10b.

The purpose is to shed light on the consequences a proposed business area at Helle could have for cultural monuments and cultural environments.

The conclusion is that the planned commercial establishment with new buildings, car park, infrastructure etc. will come into direct conflict with eight cultural environments.
