Lars Morten Fuglevik is an archaeologist and has worked at NIKU since 2016.
Fuglevik’s core expertise is within Iron Age and Medieval archaeology, cataloging/databases, preventive conservation and collection management. He is responsible for developing quality standards and routines for the treatment of finds and specimens at NIKU and coordinates incoming objects from excavation to museum storage. Fuglevik also works with x-rays, XRF and training new staff in find processing and cataloging.
Fuglevik has an M.A in Archaeology, History and History of Ideas from the University of Oslo and has broad experience from excavations and museum work at the Museum of Cultural History and the National Museum for Art, Architecture and Design. He has a supplementary education in archival science from OsloMet – and has studied administrative work at Kristiania University College and Volda University College.
