Dagheid Berg is a paintings conservator and has worked at NIKU since 2009. She studied for two years at art school before graduating as a conservator at the University of Oslo in 2002. 

Dagheid has a broad experience and has worked especially with the conservation of canvas paintings, polychrome wood and church art. She has a postgraduate education in chemistry, and contributes in the departments work on the evaluation of old and the development of new conservation methods. 

Berg has previously worked as a paintings conservator at University Museum of Bergen (2005), the National Exhibitions (2005) and Sørlandets Kunstmuseum (2006 – 2009).
