Heidi Tangen Eriksen works as an archaeologist at NIKU in Trondheim, in recent years managing the finds from the excavations at the square in Trondheim.

Heidi has worked as an archaeologist since 1989, mostly at NIKU Trondheim. She has also worked six years in the Communication Department at NTNU, mainly as a coordinator and project manager for the Science festival in Sør-Trøndelag. She thereby has broad experience of archaeological fieldwork, finds managing, communication and project managing.

Heidi holds a cand. mag. degree at the University in Oslo including Nordic archaeology, folkloristics and anthropology.
