Helene Nuland is a conservator NKF-N for wall paintings and architectural surfaces.

She studied MSc in Conservation of Decorative Architectural Surfaces at the University of Malta, with a focus on wall paintings.

She previously worked as a conservator in Germany, Malta, San Francisco and Norway, focusing mainly on conservation of wall paintings, sculpture as well as mosaics. Her experience covers historical and modern materials, both in indoor and outdoor environments.

Nuland’s areas of work in NIKU are investigations, condition surveys and conservation of wall paintings.
