Lars Gustavsen is an archaeologist at NIKU. He has worked as a field archaeologist for over 15 years and has wide ranging experience from working in Norway as well as in the UK. In the last years he has been involved in the developement of new methods for digital archaeology and has gained considerable experience in GIS, digital mapping, the analysis of satellite images, laser scanning, hyper spectral scanning and geophysical prospection.

Gustavsen received a BA (Hons.) in Archaeology from The University of York in 1999 and an MA in Landscape Archaeology from The University of Leicester in 2000.
