Sara Langvik Derrick

Sara Langvik Derrick is a communications advisor at NIKU. She works with communication strategy, press and media contact, social media and web pages, as well as other forms of research dissemination.

Derrick is an archaeologist with a master’s degree from NTNU in Trondheim (2006). She has 15 years varied and extensive experience from archaeological project throughout Norway. Derrick has been working at NIKU’s main office in Oslo since 2015.

In addition to her archaeological work, she has contributed to the dissemination of cultural heritage through Instagram, Pop-up museum, blogs, guided tours, illustrations and signage. She has a special interest in photography and started the Instagram page @niku_archaeology.
