The study of churches and church architecture is central to NIKU. We offer building archaeological surveys, archive studies, and provide documentation and condition assessments.

NIKU has in-depth knowledge of Norway’s churches, and can elaborate on previously completed works, building history, and restoration records.

We collaborate with Mycoteam AS, as well as masons Terje Berner, Tore Granmo and Geir Magnussen.
